What is Sonido Cubano? It started with the end of Son Aché and their popular gigs at Cervejaria… to keep that sound and feel going.
Spend the day in Havana! Every Sunday, Lula offers a salsa brunch party featuring live music by Luis Mario Ochoa’s Traditional Cuban Quartet and a beginner salsa lesson by Miko Sobreira. Perfect for birthday and family celebrations, baby showers, office and retirement parties, the $25 cover includes buffet brunch, coffee, dance lesson, live music, tax and service. Kids 12 and under are free. Seatings at 11am and 1pm.
The plan is, patrons will relax and eat for an hour or so, then hear the band for 45 minutes… and dance if the spirit moves them, and it should with this excellent band! The dance lesson is currently planned for 1 pm, shared by both brunch seatings.
Born, raised and educated in Havana, Cuba, Luis Mario Ochoa is an accomplished singer, guitarist, composer, arranger, educator and bandleader. Artist page is here !
