The music, while rooted in the Jazz tradition, is also heavily influenced by the Jazz-Rock and Jazz-Funk groups of the 70s, 80s, and 90s (i.e. Weather Report, Miles Davis, Steve Coleman) but the main objective of rinsethealgorithm is to combine these older and newer traditions with elements of modern forms of dance music.

Jose has worked extensively throughout Cuba, Canada, Spain and the Caribbean Islands. He has won prestigious awards for his artistry, and the following outlines some highlights of his career.
In Cuba, Jose is presently the artistic director of Proyect Danza Corpus in Matanzas. In the past he worked as a principal dancer, teacher and choreographer for Danza Espiral, and has taught at prominent schools such as Escuela de Superacion Profesional de Matanzas. His choreography has been featured in festivals and galas including a Cuban National Gala in honour of the legendary Alicia Alonso of the Cuban National Ballet, and The International Festival of Ballet of La Havana. As a principal dancer, Jose toured Canada with Decidedly Jazz Dance Works in their production Bulla, and he traveled throughout Spain and the Caribbean Islands with Danza Espiral.
Jose is a gifted teacher and has experience working with diverse levels. He is at ease teaching a wide spectrum of students ranging from absolute beginners to world-class professionals. His enthusiastic energy fills the dance studio as he shares his expertise in Modern Dance, Afro- Cuban, Salsa, Cha-cha-cha , and Mambo with his students.
