Thanks first to the beautiful dancers Latin Energy team ( danced to a Turkish song & salsa) Paula Jose Steve Young and Gen danced to Marc Anthony's El Cantante (and Vanesa and Oscar did a great Tango salsa piece. Thanks to our Djs Walter- Nilson -Alejo and DJ Gury Gury who were so good people stayed and danced until security kicked them out. The band played for 2hours and 25 mn . They made us cry ; laugh our heads off; dance non stop ; get romantic . Grateful to these tremendous musicians who gave way more than what was expected. Thanks …Going to bed now !
CUBA Well – It pretty much blew me away tonight (FRI SEPT 26) at the GREAT HALL. Kumar -Telmary were unbelievable. The room ; production values sublime. It was a beautifully designed party – The kind we always dreamed to have. We got to meet the French connection of Havana-Cultura – They really think about what they are doing incorporating symbolism, creativity and sexiness into this lifestyle- life art concept of Havana Cultura . Albena from Afro Latino and Juan Carlos Bulnes – Antonio Ramirez performed. WE are all planning to continue supporting the event and go to the Gladstone Sunday. PS will also bring Son de Cali there to enjoy the show. Keep checking for upcoming photo album.
COLOMBIA Out for dinner with SON DE CALI . Momentitos on St Clair W wined and dined over 40 people in honor of Son de Cali being here with unbelievable grace and generosity . All of the band are now here and will head down at 1pm to the Sound Academy to soundcheck . We moved on to The Cave and were treated VIP by Marcel Ramos ( united producers) and Demmis Condori of meuvelolive . I got to dance a salsa with Willie Garcia so that was a highlight of my life . The men retired early because they said they want to rest in order to do a great show tomorrow. Sat Sept 27 SON DE CALI will play one extremely long set over 2hours they promised. They will be on stage at 11pm but maybe a touch earlier if the room fills up earlier. Latin Energy dnace group – Young and Gen ; Paula and Jose ; Vanesa and Oscar will all be performing . I recommend this show highly . This Grammy award winning band will definitely renew opinions on what it a truly excellent salsa show

SON DE CALI singers/songwriters Willie Garcia Moreno and Javier Vasquez Carabali were invited last night for a fantastic meal at Babalu’u – They actually got up and participated in ANA MACHADO’S dance class. They also charmed everyone in the room .A reminder and a little plug ! Babalu’u apart from great dancing also has a great menu . You can pick at some tapas or have the full deal !It is not always possible to do but bringing bands in a few days early gives the audience the confidence that “they are really coming”; , gives the community a chance to spend time with their beloved artists. It personalizes the event and by the time you reach the dance floor the night of the show you feel that you are at a giant family dance party .
