TRIBO DE JAH SAT JULY 19 and Sunday July 20 (2nd show added) Reggae direct from Brazil at the Opera House 735 Queen street east presented by LIP ENTERTAINMENT who are also bringing us legendary KASSAV on July 31 at the Sound Academy. On Saturday July 19th Direct from CALI COLOMBIA one of Colombia’s most popular salsa bands 14 piece SON DE CALI – Members also include two singers from Grupo Niche. Opening the night are local favorites CACHE . There is also a brand new dance floor at the Sound Academy which is located at 11 Polson street Toronto ON . The visiting Colombian soccer stars who will be in town at Lamport stadium for Colombian independence day will be showing up to enjoy the show. We will therefore be treated to their presence as well.
For those of you who know us personally Juan Carlos Bulnes will be dancing along with Albena de Assis from Afrolatino dance company . Also dancing are our friends Jeannette Simeos with Frank Bishun . There is a tremendous amount of love and effort put into the show this week-end. We hope that many will be out supporting SALSA LIVE !
