Black Sugarcane, along with the Toronto association of Hip-hop and reggaeton, is hosting a Friday night dance Party and Cervejaria downtown Bar.

The band Black Sugracane performs alternate Fridays, beginning May 8th… on those days the band will go on at 1130pm.

We will be spinning all your favorites, salsa, Merengue, bachata, reggaeton….Los Van Van, Manolito Simonet…Bamboleo, we got it all.

Black Sugarcane: Formed in December 2008. A new soulful blend of underground Cuban Hip-Hop, reggaeton, and a wide array of latin styles, including cha cha cha and salsa.

Felix Reginfo former director and rapper of one of the most popular hip-hop bands in Cuba, BAJO MUNDO, joined forces with rapero Ernesto Brooks of the band ECHO A MANO to form BLACK SUGARCANE. Trying to change the look of traditional hip-hop groups, they enlisted the soulful and powerful percussion talents of Esteban Martinez (Cuba) and DJ Felix Da King (cuba). Adding her flavorful voice to the group is Nadiya Francis, a new hip-hop artist in Toronto.

The combined talents of the group bring a new sound and meaning to Hip-hop and reggaeton.
