Casino Rueda Workshop at Steps Dance Studio    ~     Saturday March 19 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Rueda de Casino (commonly referred to as Casino Rueda or Rueda) is a Cuban form of Salsa, danced in a circle with pairs of dancers.  Rueda builds on the basic salsa step and combines new turn patterns with a rotational movement of the whole circle, exchanging partners continually throughout the song.  It is a great way to interact with other people, have fun and add variety to your salsa at the same time!

The beginner workshop will focus on the most common Rueda moves: guapea (the basic), dame, enchufla, enchufla doble, un fly, mata la cucaracha and una bulla.

Casino Rueda Workshop – Intermediate (2:00-3:00pm)
The intermediate workshop will build on the calls from the beginner level and add more of the common Rueda moves: vacila, sombrero, festival de enchuflas, una con una, una con dos etc.

Casino Rueda Workshop – Advanced (3:00-4:00pm)
The advanced workshop will build on the calls from the beginner and intermediate levels and add more intricate and advanced moves.  During the advanced workshop, dancers will be invited to challenge themselves and learn how to call their own Rueda!!
