Albena de Assis, founder of Afrolatino has been a major force in creating and fostering the Cuban salsa scene that Toronto now enjoys, increasing awareness of the cultural roots of Cuban dance through lessons, performances and a partnership with groundbreaking presenters Okokan Productions. Afrolatino will treat the audience to a special cuban dance review as part of Lula’s I am Cuba LULAWOLRD presentation.
