In 2007, the Mirvishes brought Lizt Alfonso dance company to the Royal Alexandra, in the main theatre area of town for the world premier of their “La Vida” presentation. 

In 2010, the Fuerzas y Compás tour of the same company is booked one night at the tiny Markham Theatre, just north of Toronto.  The good news is, if you can get a ticket, it will be an unbeatable close look at this amazing dance company from Cuba that tours the world… to prove rumba and flamenco were made for each other, “cien por ciento cubana”.  The theatre is small, modern, comfortable, and very intimate.
