Come join us for the sounds of the golden age of cuban music. Songs by Miguel Matamoros, Ignacio Piniero, Duo Los Compadres, Cuarteto Patria, Arsenio Rodriguez, etc.,

Acoustic guitars, percussion, double bass, trumpet and vocals create a warm inviting sound that draws the listener in, and the energy from the group is infectious, being comprised of some of the best players in Toronto.

Perhaps the best-known member of the band is, Jay Danley, who spent many years playing with Son Aché at the Cervejaría.  Here’s  a myspace page featuring some of his Cuban style treatments, along with other styles.
